Social Proof

  • How is Social Proof priced?
    During our beta period, the social proof product is priced on a CPM basis. The CPM will depend on whether the client is buying the media or if RAD is buying the media. Once the beta period is complete, RAD will be offering 1, 2 and 3 year contracts.
  • Does the client buy the media or does Rad buy the media?
    Either scenario is possible.
  • Can Social Proof be leveraged in their existing and/or direct/upfront media buys with publishers?
    Yes, brands can take the Social Proof ad units and leverage each ad in their direct/upfront media buys.
  • What publishers accept Social Proof ad units?
    All publishers accept Social Proof ad units. Some publishers have restrictions on the ad unit functionality, thus restrictions do apply on a case by case basis.
  • Can Social Proof be leveraged for retargeting?
    Yes, there are multiple ways to leverage Social Proof ad units for retargeting which include products, reviews, influencers, fans and ambassadors.
  • What type of reporting does the client get from Social Proof units?

  • Can we report on which individual ‘tiles’ in the Social Proof unit are engaged with?
    Yes, we have tracking set up for this in the ad unit java-script.
  • Can we report on social actions taken by users within the Social Proof unit?
    Follows, subscribes, likes, shares, are trackable – however not commonly engaged with. Most clicks occur in the post itself and the next/prev arrows for navigation in the light box.
  • What are typical click-through rates (CTRs) on Social Proof units?
    CTR’s vary from campaign asset type and KPI. We’ve seen variances from .5% to over 2.53% on campaigns.
  • How does Rad create social proof?
    We use proprietary technology to remix your best content into a premium ad unit that can be served across publishers across the open web.
  • What DSP’s are the ad units compatible with?
    App Nexus, Rocket Fuel, Oath, Tradedesk, Double Click & Outbrain. Other DSP’s or individual publisher relationships not listed above can be easily integrated.
  • What are the typical results of a social proof ad unit?
    Rad does not guarantee results, however we’ve seen engagement lift ranging from 20% to 350%.
  • Can RAD clients buy their own media?
    Yes, Rad will create the ad units then submit through our client portal for approval and delivery.
  • Does the social proof ad unit work for conversion marketing?
    Yes, it does. We’ve seen best results with our retargeting ad unit outside of the walled gardens.
  • How long does it take to get the social proof ad unit live?
    Typically 5 business days once we’ve onboarded the client’s key objective(s) of the campaign.
  • What is the most commonly used content (types) RAD uses to create a social proof ad unit?
    Instagram, Facebook, You Tube, Influencer, Fans, ambassadors, blogs, news articles, and product reviews are the most commonly used.

Paid Media

  • Does Rad manage traditional paid media on behalf of clients?
    We’ve had excellent success managing paid media across most digital channels including Facebook, Instagram, You Tube, and Google.
  • How does RAD evaluate the paid media environment each client already has in place?
    Our team conducts a comprehensive audit across all media channels to ensure we’re confident in our ability to deliver results. Each RAD audit tells a clear story and dictates where improvements can be made.
  • How does RAD bill for paid media services?
    Most agencies bill a percentage of media spend. We however don’t bill in this manner. Your quote will be based on your core needs, time, and complexity of the deliverables.
  • Does Rad engage with all clients?
    We must have a high degree of confidence in our ability to produce measurable results to engage. For this reason, we carefully screen each client before engagement.
  • Does RAD produce the creative assets associated with each media campaign?
    We produce the creative suite needed – including video, stills, and ad unit (size variations) for any demand side platform engagements.

General

  • How do I get the data into a Dashboard or Report that’s in a .pdf?
    We have the ability to use automated scraping technology to extract data from a .pdf or text document and use it as part of your Dashboard or Report.
  • What data sources do you support?
    Everything from Google Analytics to AppNexus. We specialize in connecting to difficult data sources + can even ingest offline data into the Dashboards + Reports.
  • Why can’t someone on my team do this?
    RAD’s Data Platform uses proprietary algorithms and data sources requiring 1000’s of hours development time to craft the infrastructure involved in these Reports + Dashboards. It’s just more economical to use RAD.
  • Will my data be secure?
    We employ industry-standard encryption at every stage of contact with you and your data. Unique instances of Dashboards are created just for you.
  • How do I know if the information displayed is correct?
    We employ best-in-class quality assurance practices, checking results displayed in Dashboards with data from their source bi-weekly.

Dashboards

  • How often do the Dashboards update?
    In most cases, hourly.
  • How do I access the Dashboards?
    They are delivered via email, Slack or text and the link can be accessed at any time. You can choose how frequently you’re alerted (daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly).
  • Who can see the Dashboards in my business?
    You can set-up a Dashboard to only be accessed by those people you wish to see it. They can also be exported as .pdf’s or images so you can share the results in other reports.
  • Can I get a monthly summary of my results?
    Yes, we can auto-deliver a .pdf of your Dashboard monthly.
  • How long do they take to set-up?
    3 weeks.
  • What does my team need to do?
    Provide login, and/or API, information to company social media accounts.

Reports

  • Why, as a client, should I use these?
    It’s data, and insights, you can’t receive anywhere else. Like how your social influencer spend is translating into success (i.e. most impressions, most conversions, etc.). Or the size, and make-up, of Audiences that look exactly like your customers that you’re not targeting today. Then how much to spend to acquire them.
  • How do we determine what customer is resonating with what Influencer? Our algorithms do four things:
    1. Allow you to select a business goal: what Influencer returned the most impressions, engagements, clicks or conversions.
    2. Put all impression, spend, audience psychographic data and conversion data in one place.
    3. Rank campaigns from least to most successful against your business goal (generating impressions, conversions, etc.).
    4. Display the most successful campaigns in your Report.
  • How do we find other audiences that will resonate with your current products or services? Our algorithms do it in five steps:
    1. Put all impression, spend, audience psychographic data and conversion data in one place.
    2. Rank campaigns from least to most successful against your business goal (generating impressions, conversions, etc.).
    3. Discover the commonalities in demographic and psychographic makeup of your most successful campaigns.
    4. Pull from a mix of public and private databases to determine the size of the audience that shares the traits of your most successful campaigns.
    5. Display those findings in your Report.
